Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

One of my favorite ways to introduce sorting to my kindergarteners was to read this book and let them sort the buttons. I was always impressed with the attributes they saw.

Air bubbles in ice. It has been mild here but freezes most nights and the ponds have 4 to 6 inches of ice in the shade. The top one was converted to B&W and the bottom one is color. I enhanced the red-orangey seed in the upper right.

The Circle Game
Then the child moved ten times round the seasons Skated over ten clear frozen streams . . .
We can't return, we can only look Behind, from where we came And go round and round and round, in the circle game

A couple of Thomas Kinkade Christmas plates that we leave hanging on our wall year-round, rain or shine. (No snow here in S. CA.)

Maybe not quite so pretty as some of the submissions but I spotted these circles which are sewer pipes - being installed under what will be a new soccer pitch, change room and most likely preparing for a future development based on their size! Tony

"The Planets. (Our Christmas tree)" It is not unusual for me to miss the point but can you give a bit of an explanation here, Howard?
