Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

I'll go with holiday travel for this week. Here's Amtrak leaving Portland for Seattle during the busy week. Thanks Sepiana!

The weather here has been damp and foggy all week (El Niño at work) so no white Christmas and no sign of the sun - so I'll go with colourful as a theme as the only colourful thing on this mornings walk was this painted rock snake that has been growing all year. The sign is from the other end of the snake but I combined the separate shots. Tony

Things you only buy at Christmas. (just the type/brand, not chocolate generally, that would be ridiculous!)

More birds ... female and male house finches. Photographed through our sitting room window. They perch in a small green ash tree close to the feeders.
