Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

I guess a selfie of myself would fit the description nicely but I'll look around for a non-human entry instead.

The head and tail of an 1890 coin. Minted in the reign of Queen Victoria. I don't know what value the coin was when it could be spent but it is probably pure silver and measures 1¼ inches diameter.

That's certainly an impressive Bible Helen. It made me think of this book that is not quite as impressive but holds family history and memories for me. It is my Mother's cookery/recipe book. Well used by her. It is dated 1909, so I guess she must have bought it second-hand.

Not the oldest, but older. Chrysler New Yorker ca. 1952-53. Thanks for the theme Sepiana.

A pleasant day to be outside so here are a couple of outdoor oldies. CN 6069 is a 4-8-2 "Mountain"-type steam locomotive built in Montreal in 1944. Now parked in a local park. The church dates back to 1856 and is one of the oldest in the area. The original pic has ugly wire cables strung all the way across which for a previous project I removed and recall it took a while to get it right. This time I tried generative fill and within a few seconds there was no trace of the wires as you can see. I was impressed. Tony

Mart, definitely something old and with quite a history behind it. I like how you displayed it -- front and back -- side by side.

Pictures from my mothers' family Bible.... Helen, beautiful heirloom. These images would be perfect to create a digital scrapbooking layout -- a family history.
