It's Wednesday again kids. And time for another challenge. This week lets see what you can do with this farmers field. Have fun, and lets see what you all can come up with.

Rita, how do you think up these things? Amazing!!!! Helen, just the occasional touch of madness. Only for fun, nothing certifiable - yet. Rita

You all have surely taken this plain old field and made some really cool pictures out of it. Rita- I hope some of them pies are cherry. My favorite. Sydney- I must admit, you have done a great job of making this look abstract. BillieJean- That is out of this world for sure.
Good job everyone! Lets keep them coming.

Awesome job all. Frank- I like what you did here. They had to experiment with it somewhere, so it might as well have been this field. Sepiana- It's getting more & more like this around the country, & the world. Great interpretation on this weeks challenge. j- I like the detail you brought out in your creation. It's had to believe that this is a quilt. I would love to see that quilt. Great job everybody.

Ok - As usual I have tried a B&W version of the starting image . Had some problems with it because the original image was quite small so I kept getting bright halos around between of the trees and the sky.
In processing it I thought that the trees and the cloudy sky were the most interesting parts and so tried to focus attention on them.

Had some problems with it because the original image was quite small Chris, I am curious. Did you use the image as posted -- 1278 px x 852 px? Or did you click on it to access the original (large) size -- 1600 px 1066 px?
