Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was suggested by billz. (Thanks, Bill!)

Toys?? Now where is a grown man supposed to find toys? I had no idea so I asked Mr Bill to round up a couple pals and go shopping. Looking like a somewhat twisted version of Dorothy with the Wizard of Oz gang, it seemed to be going well until the goblin insisted on a replica of the Empire State Building and threw it in the cart. Nobody wanted to mess with him, so here we have it. Thanks for picking the theme Sepiana, and for hosting the challenge as always.

Toys of yesteryear. Can't imagine kids getting a methylated spirits burner and leaky steam engine under the tree these days! Taken with white balance Cloudy under LED lights, minor changes to levels/saturation, duplicated layer with blend mode Multiply at 50%, added frame in Nik Analoigue.

Is this a toy, I don't know....but I like to manipulate the segments to change its shape, oddly satisfying.

It might be gathered that a favourite cartoon character is Pluto. Knowing this, my family have given these to me over the years..

One more - a very unexpected find on a morning walk. There's a small cabin along the walk and decided to shelter in it from a flurry of snow and cold wind - and found the seating already occupied! Tony

This could be an inspiration for a movie -- The Wizard of Oz according to Mr. Bill.

Nice interpretation of the theme, one with a vintage touch.
