Living near an airfield where they used to have airshows, I have a few photos of aircraft. They are from the archives since the shows no longer happen (public safety concerns). Being local, some of us knew just where to stand and get some photos as the aircraft perform some low flying. All without paying to actually go into the airfield as well.  Being military aircraft they aren't brightly painted but it was good to see the aircraft up close and in flight. A Vulcan Bomber, now grounded..  A WW2 Lancaster Bomber, only two left in the whole World are airworthy..  |

On my walk this afternoon, it occurred to me that no one had specifically posted a cloud photo .. there are photos showing clouds for sure. This cloud (that has been posted here before) came to mind. So I converted the jpg to B&W using a new gradient map layer. This photo is composed of 40 individual images stitched in MS ICE. May 15, 2023. I only had my telephoto with me a the time. The cloud was harmless.  |
