Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

No toys to be found last week.....but a Number of choices for this week. I'll go with our land-line which we still use.

License plate numbers from a '56 Chevy that was on the lot this morning. I can put up with the rain because it's Oregon, and I understand the dealer marketing on the license plate frame, but whoever installed the license plate bracket off-center should have to write "Measure twice, cut once" on the board 100 times. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

The general contractor sprayed the house number on this new multi-million dollar house under construction. I presume that is an aid to subtrades. February 5, in Lethbridge, Alberta.

Yesterday we visited the National Railway Museum in York, where numbers identified each individual piece of antique rolling stock. i.ibb.co/5TZFfms/T1.jpgIn the adjacent galleries we admired a real miscellany of antique items with a railway connection. I was especially impressed by the numbers on this splendid old timepiece, which surely had once lived in the office of a major railway bigwig. i.ibb.co/V0GsbVd/C1.jpgBrenda

There are 675 numbered bus routes in London. I once tried to ride on all of them, but had to give up because of traffic jams. This bus stop lists the numbers that stop here in Uxbridge. There are several stops like this in Uxbridge High Street. i.ibb.co/QrhG8HP/BS.jpgMatthew

Two approaches to numbering campground lots - 89 and 95 Tony, I really like the 2nd numbering -- the carved one. It goes well with the natural surroundings.

Brenda Brenda, great interpretations of this theme, both full of history. The numbers on the old timepiece are exquisite. Impressive!
