I would surmise that they are like a lot of the dogs around here and have no idea of their parentage.
As for color, they are Liver Chestnut with Flax Mane & Tail.
I would say their sire is a Belgian, or more likely a Halflinger, and their dam(s) is a Shetland mix.
I don't know if they are full siblings a year apart or half-siblings the same age; more likely full siblings a year apart due to how similar in appearance they are.
You could buy a pretty decent pickup truck for what a matched pair of work-broke kid-broke ponies like that would cost.
