Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!)

Thanks for the theme Sepiana and dennis9! Here's the water in the Willamette River this morning. 14-stop ND filter, f5.6, iso 160, 2 minute exposure. As a water bonus, it was pouring rain but the long exposure blurred that part out.

No rain here and cold enough that the water in Bear Creek was frozen but that didn't seem to bother the beavers who it looked like had been recent visitors to the trees on the bank. Tony

Yesterday, I went for a walk by the river. (I have cold/flu but had to get some fresh air. Getting better.) The top photo was shot directly into the bright sun sparkles in the Oldman River. 1/5,000 second at f16

I've been MIA for a couple of months... my camera sits idle for long periods during winter. I just can't get motivated this season. Tonight was an exception, took a drive over to the local reservoir to see if the snow geese were here yet. The answer is yes, they are. And an amazing sunset as well. I was so happy when they decided to take off and fly right through the sunset as I was shooting across the lake.

Yeah... I have one of those too. They look kind of sad this time of year.

Love those water bubbles, Helen. Thanks, Jim. Was looking for something different than some of the usual water images I've shared.
