Sally, the fence-jumping, rock-climbing, coon-hunting mule.

Sally is a bay mule from Eubank, Kentucky.

Notice how much taller are a Mule's hooves as compared to a Horse's hooves.

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

It's just like throwing the saddle on a green horse; if you go about it like it is something that might eat them up, then they expect that it may eat them up; I just throw up the camera and shoot before they have time to decide whether they like it or not; if they always dodge the camera, their family ain't gonna have much to choose from to put on their casket and they more often than not end up with some blurry red-eyed mess on their obituary announcement.
