Digital Universe

This image started off as a picture of a waterfall at night that was very underexposed and noisy. So I started to play around with it in photoshop elements. The noise reminded me of stars. I used the "Twirl" filter to create a "Spiral Galaxy".  One thing led to another, and combining various layers with clouds and the twirl filter I tried to create the sense of power, motion and light.
