There is no candy-coating politically correct environmental friendliness amongst these guys; they say what they mean and they mean what they say.
The guy sitting in the wagon is a logger in every sense of the word --- and still alive; and, the old man on the ground has made himself the wealthiest man in the community by trading mules.
Notice how alert the riding mule is; she knows what is going on two counties over.
