Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTEThis week's theme was suggested by tonyw. (Thanks, Tony!)

There's an old farmhouse not too far away that I've used several times for similar themes so stopped by today and it has indeed got even more derelict than the last time I dropped in for a photo. And this truck and drilling rig doesn't look like it's moved in a while and might not be going to far in the future Tony

Remnants of derelict fencing lie abandoned in the countryside and look surprisingly attractive amidst the natural greenery. Matt and I shared the camera on our walk today. (The first shot is mine and the second Matt's) Two versions of Mother Nature's "Shabby Chic" i.ibb.co/0VpxmJB/F1.jpgi.ibb.co/F05TdsC/F2.jpgBrenda

A quick detour on the way home today gave me a number of opportunities to photograph derelict buildings at Fort Monmouth.Helen, the detour paid off. You captured buildings that qualify as "derelict" (and with a history as a bonus).

The old farmhouse looks like it could collapse any moment.

You both captured derelict fences in a natural setting. Mother Nature's Shabby Chic at its best!

The old Centennial Mills building. Thanks for the theme Tony and Sepiana! Bill, your use of a simplistic composition, negative space, and B&W worked. It emphasized the "derelict" angle of your subject.
