Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE The inspiration for this theme came from these images by dennis9 (Brenda and Matt).

This wrought iron fence likely dates back to the 1870's. Up until a few years back it was looking cared for but it is now definitely starting to show its age! Tony

Three different types of fences..... Helen, nice job! Three different types of fences yet connected by the same shooting angle (looking downwards at them).

From this morning's walk. Thanks for the theme Sepiana and Dennis! Bill, the mural-painted fences are colorful and whimsical. My favorite image? The fence with the daffodil peeking through. Great DOF!

I walk past this fence on regular trips to the station nearly every day. Matthew Matthew, well-composed image! The fence going diagonally across the frame, creating leading lines to draw our eyes.

A fence guarding the hallowed turf of Croydon's bowling greens against relentlessly marauding urban foxes. Dennis Dennis, not your usual urban fence! Including a close-up of the warning sign was very clever; it emphasizes the "guarding" role of this fence.

A fence with human handiwork much embellished and beautified by Mother Nature. Brenda Brenda, great job capturing the beauty of this fence! Getting up close and personal with it to allow the viewers to better appreciate it.
