I spent the day Monday routing a new Brake Light Switch Wire in my main truck, leaving most of my hide and quite a bit of my blood on sharp edges underneath the dash. I didn't get as early start as I wanted as it came a goose-drownding flood and I had to wait it out. Then the sun came out revealing a sky covered in thick white fluffy clouds. After a couple hours, the wind really picked up and the sky got all weird-looking and turned purple; and then, it got dark, very dark. I thought "Oh No; another flood and I have all these tools out here and the truck doors open with wires hanging out." And then, it passed as quickly as it came about; the wind died down and the sun came back out and the sky was still covered with those funny clouds. I had the radio on and the news came on and some lady was interviewing people from several states away that had driven to Kentucky to view an eclipse, of all things; and here I was, with a ring-side seat, and I never even looked up; I had no idea there was even supposed to be an eclipse.

I had no idea there was even supposed to be an eclipse. Hang in there BuckSkin. "The next total solar eclipses in North America are not anticipated until 2044" I will miss that one. Not sure f I'll be able to see it from my location at that time. The Good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise I hope to see these. These dates for my present location.) These are for you ...
