New classrooms being craned
Now that's my kind of photography !
Notice the second smaller crane riding on the big crane that is there for loading/unloading the counter-weights and out-rigger pads.
That is a pretty impressive telescoping-boom crane.
Looking at what they are doing from a practical point of view, considering how many thousands of dollars that thing is costing every hour it is sitting there, and as simple constructed as the segments are, I believe a smart man like me would have left the crane at home and assembled the sections right where they went; they could have saved a ton of money on trucking alone.
"Prefab" is seldom the most cost-efficient means of construction.
But, then, we wouldn't have got to see that thing in action.
