I'm Dave and am located in the County of Suffolk (UK), in an area know as "Constable Country" after the landscape artist John Constable (1776-1837). I have been a keen amateur photographer for more years than I care to remember, and have been using Photoshop Elements since 2013, followed by a series of upgrades. Currently Elements 2024. Although it hasn't been updated in quite a while, my history and background, along with some of my images can be seen on my website at davesimaging.wixsite.com/mysite |

I saw you have posted a question about printing with PSE 2024. That sounds like a most frustrating problem, so I hope you get a solution soon.

Wonderful photos. Loved your Goldfinch photo. The American/Eastern Goldfinch does not have that red around the face. When I first saw Goldfinches after moving to Iowa - where the Goldfinch is the state bird - I was so confused when the yellow birds 'showed up' after most of the green ones went away. I did not realize those greenish males I had been watching would molt into the yellow ones. Took me a long time to figure it out. I was further confused by the females staying green. |

Thanks all for the friendly welcome Glad you liked the Greenfinch Janice. We get lots of them in the garden, along with Chaffinches, and Goldfinches. Also Blue Tits & Gt Tits. Probably because they get well fed here  |
