We went to the summer place on April 24. Yesterday's wind formed a lovely arch from north to south. This shows the north end of the arch. The colors are blah and I might convert to B&W. (No green here yet and when it is cloudy everything is drab.)

That looks to have been a lovely old dwelling place. Shame it's in the state it is now.

That looks to have been a lovely old dwelling place. Shame it's in the state it is now. Back in the day (perhaps the 20s or 30s) it would have been a fancy house. Families move on and build bigger homes. There are a few of these here and there. This house is about 15 minutes away. One day I will take a good aurora photo at this house.

More often than not, they just go busted and the house gets too run down to live in on account of they can't afford to fix the little things and it gets out of hand.

More often than not, they just go busted and the house gets too run down to live in on account of they can't afford to fix the little things and it gets out of hand. Apparently, the first house posted (clouds) was owned by a wealthy family that just built bigger somewhere. The current landowner farms thousands of acres. However, the second house was part of a failed farming venture. I know the current land owners and have permission to go in whenever I want, unless they have cattle in the pasture.
