Nice challenge. Thank you Sepiana. In PSE I applied Diana Days Pastel Sketch action I applied a photocopy filter to a duplicate of the original image and placed it above the Pastel Sketch with the blend mode Multiply applied. Created a stamped layer and took that into Topaz Studio where I applied the Antiques and Memories filter from the Impression section. Frame by Jodi.

Used a FotoSketcher watercolor filter on the subjects and then took it into PSE to apply an artistic, film grain watercolor filter. Placed the result on a Morgue-file vintage red book page I had prepared with nostalgic flowers by Renee and a H.S. Rice poem.

Took the image into Smart Photo Editor where I applied the Golden Morning Glow effect by Tony. Back in PSE I added the other items all from the Mother Love Collection by The Hungry Peg. What would we do without our mothers? To Mothers everywhere...

Interesting edit, fotofrank. It's like they are woven together...I like that implication.

Used Sepiana's sketch action on my original edit. Followed up with a preset in On1. Sadly don't remembers which one.

Lillias, the elaborate combo of techniques you used resulted in an eye-catching image. Great choice of frame -- it matches the image colors.

Eliminated the color and different patterns to create a high key portrait.... Helen, the high key effect worked for the starter image. Good thinking and good job!

An emotion-laden image!

Frank, and thanks to you for this editing of the starter image. I keep going back to it. It's mesmerizing -- work of art!
