Lightroom 6.14 Users Should Keep A Backup Copy

Many are using the latest version of Lightroom Classic or Lightroom CC. However some like me prefer to continue using the last stand alone version of LR 6. Although LR 6 is no longer supported by Adobe, users have reported that it works with Windows 11, although the "Map" feature does not work. There is also a trick to edit files from LR 6 in PS Elements which is the subject of another thread. 

In December 2023 Adobe officially stopped providing download links to the latest version LR 6.14. To the best of my knowledge, LR 6 can no longer be updated using Help/Check for updates. So if you have a valid licence key and plan to continue to use LR 6.14 it would be a good idea to download a copy of the latest version of LR 6.14 from a web archive while it is still available. That way, you will be able to reinstall when upgrading to a new computer or operating system. I am not sure if a new installation of the product can be activated automatically of if help from Adobe support is needed.
