For our forum friends who never or rarely browse the Elements Adobe forum, I'd like to recommend reading that recent post:
The recent issue is when you are in a situation where you you want to activate a new installation (for a new computer for instance) and you get a message that you can't because of "too many activations". In such a situation, Adobe help desk had the possibility to discard your activations until recently from the very old (obsolete) activation servers. That seems impossible now.
For Photoshop, Lightroom and other subscription softwares you can deactivate from your Adobe account. That's never been possible for PSE/PRE.
So please remember that: - you must take care of deactivating any computer you'll no longer use from the help menu.
- if you have only used one activation, you should be good to use the secnd one.
- if you have already two activations used, and one is stolen or brokien, you'll need to deactivate the remaining computer to be able to activate a new one.
