Sorry for being quiet, I was away for 11 days and just getting settled in again. I went out this evening to look for bears (none seen) and was rewarded with this scene in the way home. Pure luck that my flash was in the truck and I used it to lighten the house as it was quite dark out.  |

Enjoy seeing the many pictures that you have posted of this wonderful old house, Clive. Always think it would be impressive to see them all in the same thread for comparison of seasons and different times of day/compositions. Not sure how much trouble that would be for you.

Very nice indeed, and a very photogenic old house.
I've been away too, arrived back yesterday and hope to be a bit more active again soon. It's going to take a while to view, sort and edit my Vietnam pics though!

Thanks Helen and everyone. Ah, that's a good idea. Remind me in winter.  I probably have 1,000 photos if the house. We've been driving by it for 17 years. One should really take a photo in every season from exactly the same location. Will be hard to beat this taken on July 13, 2020. The old house, Neowise comet, noctilucent clouds, aurora (lasted about 3 minutes) and the Big Dipper (is in there somewhere.)  |
