Hi, I am trying to resize some of my 12x12 scrapbooking templates into 8.5x11. At first I tried changing the canvas and image size but then I noticed the Scale option. I resized the template and it seemed like the easiest way to do it. Other than still having to resize the photo spots individually to better suit the smaller template the whole document size seems to have the correct properties of 2550x3300 pixels with a resolution of 300ppi. So, my questions is: Is using the Scale option the correct way to resize these templates? Thank you.

So, my questions is: Is using the Scale option the correct way to resize these templates? Hi and welcome to the forum janethequene ... I don’t know if using the Scale option is the 'correct' way but I have found the 'easiest' way for me to resize from 12 x 12 to 8.5 x 11 is as follows. First screenshot - I created my own template 12 x 12.
Second screenshot - I went to Image>Resize>Image Size
Third screenshot - This brought up the Image Size dialogue box.
NOTE: I removed the tick from Scale Styles and Constrain Proportions. This allowed me to type the proportions I wanted into the Width and Height Boxes for the Document Size. Resolution remained at 300. Click OK.
Fourth screenshot - Shows your new resized template and document. You will still have to adjust your photos to suit the proportions of the resized template. I hope this helps...
