The White Horse
I was told this horse was meaner than a striped mule and had never been ridden.
All the heavy downpours has him white for the moment; but, I was told he likes to roll in the soot and blackened ground where a big brush pile was burnt and comes out black as a Crow.
The neighbors who pass by think they have two horses, a white one and a black one.
The heavy downpours of that day and the preceding night have him mostly white, but you can still see plenty of evidence of his desire to be black.
