BG Paper and other embellishments from Tribal Impressions kit by Raspberry Road Designs. Image of lady from Pixabay. I blended the two together using a mask and then created a stamped layer. Took that into Topaz Studio and from the Impressions presets applied the Fading Away1 filter. I took the result of that into ON1 Effects 2024 and applied the R2 filter from the Retro presets.  |

A few things... 1) I like this a lot...book cover stuff...Bogart movie poster 2) The colours/hues/values/gradients are pleasing 3) My brain has no idea how you did this in the "quote" Very nice. |

What Clive and Howard said. To me, (if it was in monotone) it could easily be a poster of an old Noir thriller like a Marlene Dietrich flick, etc. You put a lot of work into that. Of course now I have to Google "stamped layer" to see what that involves.  |

Of course now I have to Google "stamped layer" to see what that involves. Jim Creating a stamped layer is to combine all the others layers into one.
The following two examples of my layers panel for my Olympic Challenge entry shows Firstly the layers panel without a stamped layer and Secondly the layers panel with a stamped layer. To obtain the stamped layer all I did was in the first example I clicked on the top layer to activate it and then held down the key combo of Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E. I hope this explains things...

Creating a stamped layer is to combine all the others layers into one. Thanks, Lillias. I often use "merge visible" to include all the layers into one group but your method seems to create that merged group on top while still leaving all the individual layers accessible for editing underneath the stamped group. Is that the concept? |
