This is a composite. The badgers were hunting the grounds squirrels.....They actually went as far down the ground squirrel's holes as they could......

Yes, these badgers live on my golf course. I was lucky enough to be at the range with my camera when there were only two of us (people) and the badgers came out to hunt the numerous ground squirrels and to play. There was also a red/gold fox. Interesting fact I did not know - foxes look scraggly in the summer because they lose a lot of their body fur, except on their tail - who knew.
Badgers are an endangered and protected species so they are permanent residents of the golf course. They can be very vicious so there are warning signs posted to keep away from them [ahaha I did read the signs, so I kept a golf club handy...].

... these badgers live on my golf course. Thanks Pat. Who knew golfing was an extreme sport? I got close to a mother badger who had two playful kits. She poked her head out of her den, looked at me standing 8 m away and went back down leaving me to take photos of the kits. They can be vicious of approached or cornered...apparently.
