We had an outing to Ironwood Forest National Monument, a very dark sky location. The moon was up and at 37% illumination which was a perfect to "shoot the Moon" while we waited for it to set. I the past I've had to take multiple exposures to really get a decent Mineral Moon, this was different. For the MW I used both my Panasonic FZ 300 and iPhone 13 pro. Lesson learned is shoot the MW 2 or 3 days on either side of a new moon.
