Seeing Chris' question reminds me why I never use Adobe Stock Images. Is this a service you have to pay for when once you have used 10 images? For some reason I had thought it came free with PSCC but it seems it doesn't.

I assumed that as a link to Adobe Stock was provided within the PSE 2024 software that it was a free service. I really must learn NOT to assume. I will be interested in the answer to your question.

I have used Adobe Stock images from within both PSE 2024 and PSE 2025 more than 10 times. As of this writing, I'm still doing it FREE!

Wow...maybe that's a benefit that PE has and PSCC doesn't? You never see anything about starting your free trial?

I don't see this in the PSE 24 Advanced, I never use Quick or Guided.

Can’t remember how I did it but I do recall the selection was somehat limited compared to the other free sources but next time Im on I’ll see if I can find how I did it again. Tony

Sorry for not responding sooner, tonyw . Accessing hasn't been what's stopped me from using Adobe Stock Images. Not matter where I search..... StockSoloFile.....Search Adobe StockCreative CloudI am always presented with.... Get 10 images with a free trial. If you figure out another way I'd be interested to know what it is. But being StockSolo usually works for me, and is a convenient plug-in for PSCC, it really isn't that important. I was just curious after seeing Chris' question.

I was about to post how to find that down arrow but I see you have found it. I usually get to it through the Creative Cloud Desktop and the Free selection is sticky. Another easy way is in PS CC File>Search Adobe Stock. I take back what I said about a limited number - there are now many more free ones than I remember which is maybe why they are now accessible in PSE as well as PS CC. You have the option to download them or add them to a library which means they will be accessible from PS CC. Whether there's a way to search and use directly in PS in the same way Stock Solo or similar plug-ins work I don't know but it would be very helpful if there was. Maybe someone knows or I'll figure it out while playing around.

Thanks, Tony. Creative Cloud doesn't show free as sticky for me. I'm fine as long as I know to choose free, no matter where I look. I don't want to save images to my library so thanks for the tip about just downloading...will have to check for that.

Tony, I access Adobe Stock from within either Elements or Photoshop using the File > Search command. All the Adobe Stock images I downloaded via Elements are integrated with the ones I downloaded via Photoshop. If I need to redownload them, I just go to . . . Creative Cloud Desktop > Adobe Stock > Your licensed assets > License History. Kudos to Adobe for this helpful Adobe Stock integration!

Helen, my understanding is that it is free within PSE 2024/2025. However, the catch is that Adobe only provides a limited selection of free images/textures etc. to PSE users. Your question refers to the full Photoshop Creative Cloud. When you navigate to Adobe stock, is there a "free" button that you can select? Please see this link. Scroll down to, "Free Collection Assets". There are 7 sub points under it. helpx.adobe.com/stock/faq.html#:~:text=Do%20I%20need%20a%20Creative,quickly%20create%20free%20of%20charge. Evidently, some content is free. But you have to pay a subscription to get the "cream". The 7th point says, "The hundreds of thousands of assets available in the Adobe Stock free collection provide only a fraction of the assets that are available with an Adobe Stock paid subscription. The free collection’s emphasis is on breadth, not depth." Kind regards Chris PS. I don't know if I have understood correctly. But in the above link under, "Free Collection Assets", the second point says that anyone with an Adobe ID can log into the Adobe stock page and download their free content. So maybe owning PSE 2024/25 or Creative Cloud is not essential. I will have to check.
