Hi, In PSE 11 I was able to adjust the Print View to be the actual print size of my photo. I cannot remember how and cannot find anyway of setting this in PSE 13. I know it was not a difficult action so please help anyone? Thanks in advance.

Hi Gill -
Not sure what you mean by print view, but in the print dialog, under Select Print Size, Actual Size is one of the choices (and is usually the default when you enter the print dialog screen).

Hi Major Major Thank you for your very quick response. I didn't explain myself very well and used the wrong terminology! I meant that in PSE 11, when I click on View>Print Size the actual size of the photo is shown. Thus, if I'm creating a card, 6x8 inches say, and hold the actual card on which I am going to print up to the computer screen, I can see how the final print will look. I did some alteration to achieve this in the Program but cannot remember how. I wanted to be able to do the same in PSE 13. I'm in the UK so there is generally a delay before I see any reply. Regards Gill

Regards Gill The 'actual' print size depends on your display size and resolution. You can set it in your preferences, in the menu Edit/preferences, section Units and rulers. By default the screen resolution is set to 72 pixels/inch. Just take a measurement on your screen and change that resolution so that the size on your screen matches the size of your output.

Hi gill, Just to try and be more clear, when it says actual size, it is referring to what will be printed on you paper (not the displayed size).
I think the best way to accomplish what you are after is to do it in the editor where you have full control over the size of the displayed image.
I hope that makes sense and was helpful.

Hi Gill, I just reread your post and realized I made the mistake of thinking you were talking about the print preview dialog. I guess I have never noticed the View/Print View item, so thanks for turning me onto it!
I think what Michel had to say will be helpful to you.

Thank you everyone for your help and I took MichelB and bellamy's advice and am now sorted. The Print Size option is very useful when creating cards etc as you can see exactly what fits onto the print without losing any decorated edges.
