Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!)

We are leaving in a bit for a quick get-away so I'll go with my favorite breakfast. Raisin bran with walnuts and bananas, yogurt and of course coffee...in my favorite mug.

I have many many favorite things. Two of them are in this photo. Like Bill, I love fall. And who could not like northern lights? 11 PM on Monday, October 7.

Wonderfully delicious and healthy breakfast, Helen. It's similar to mine.
Clive, I would love to see the northern lights in person.

Clive, I would love to see the northern lights in person. They are mystical and I am not a "crystals and mystical" sort of person. They ARE super neat. Lots of oooows and ahhhs and wows. Great fun. NOAA and assorted global space-weather agencies have issued a forecast for a possible (always just, maybe) huge aurora even on Oct 9 through 11. Highly unlikely it will be seen on TX but THIS will be it if it ever happens. Stay tuned. See here. Dates and times are always presented in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) ... 4 to 7 hours ahead of times on our continenet.

My favourite walk is along the Thames Path - northern or southern side - between Tower Bridge and Greenwich. Always changing and full of interest. i.ibb.co/2Fm51V9/TB.jpgi.ibb.co/KV17YLd/GR.jpgUnfortunately today my favourite walk was a bit of a disaster. I tripped and fell, so I am battered and bruised. My knee took the brunt of the fall and it may be some time before I can do my favourite walk again. Brenda

Once my favourite chair - now the cats! Tony, this is priceless! The cat seems to know who the boss is. Look at that face!

Both are worthy of being revisited. Wishing you quick and steady healing. Take care of yourself!
