This is for anyone interested in seeing northern lights.
NOAA and assorted global space-weather agencies have issued a forecast for a possible huge aurora even on Oct 9 through 11. Aurora forecast are highly sketchy. No guarantees.
See here and here. Dates and times are always presented in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) ... 4 to 7 hours ahead of times on the NA continent.
If (if) it happens as predicted this will be seen well down into the US.
