Hi,
I am editing images of the Hunter's moon which was visible here in Cape Town on the 18th of this month. I want to enhance the texture of the moon surface.
There is a slider in Lightroom called Texture which I believe ( I do not have Lightroom ) enhances the texture without compromising the detail.
Is there a similar function in Elements 2013?

What you can try is open the file in Camera Raw (File>Open in Camera Raw) and adjust the Clarity slider. That does much the same thing as texture in Lightroom and will likely do what you want to do with your moon shots

Hi Andrei,
My error, not PSE 2013, have PSE 2023, so it will help. Can you possibly help by pointing me in the right direction as I have Elements+ for PSE 2023.
Thanks

Hi Andrei, I apologize for the delayed thank you. Things got a bit chaotic preparing for, and going to, the Madagascar Rain Forests. I will no doubt have use for the texture slider in the close to 1000 images I brought back.
There is on thing about the ACR in Elements+ that has always given me a problem, and that is the quality of the displayed image being edited. Can I improve it by changing settings?

Hi popcorn, Indeed the preview colors are not precise. Unfortunately, I can't do it any better. I recommend the following workaround: - Make the "undocumented" corrections in the E+ "RAW Corrections" dialog - Check "Show ACR" gadget and click "OK". This opens the photo in the Adobe Camera RAW dialog, so, you can fine-tune the color and tone looking at a better preview.
