Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

This little church is very special to us. It is the church where we were married many, many years ago. i.ibb.co/89QnMKH/CHBP.jpgDennis

Perfect weather for a visit with the camera to some local churches. Interestingly all of them had wires of one sort or another distracting from the view so I used the new wire removal feature in Photoshop on all of them and it worked well. First is one of the oldest in the area - built in 1856 St. Johns in the Wilderness (and it was in a wilderness back then though not any more!) Second is Our Lady of Mercy built in 1878 at a cost of 20,000 Canadian Dollars! Third is the most recent - St Andrews built in 1890 Tony

Following Dennis' lead, I chose the church where we, as well as both of our daughters, were married. Since 1997, it has become a perpetual adoration chapel. There is always someone there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The second picture shows the inside when I stopped by this afternoon.

St John the Baptist, Milwaukie, Oregon. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, great image on more than one count -- B&W conversion, use of negative space, spot-on focus on an architectural detail.
