I would like to install my PSE 11 on my new computer but can't find anything about that on PSE&M. I have looked on the Adobe site (which I have to say is one of the most difficult I have come across in terms of finding anything/understanding it when I have found it ) I did manage to log into my account and get my PSE 11serial number from when I originally bought it. I then started a 'chat' to get help from adobe but the page disappeared before I could note down the chat reference number and I can't work out how to get back to the chat (assuming it even started) So .... can anyone please advise on what I need to do now to get PSE 11 installed on my PC/ point me to a link that explains it in plain English?

Well, let's start with the basics. Do you have the program on disc or elsewhere?

I did manage to log into my account and get my PSE 11serial number from when I originally bought it. Do you mean you purchased Elements 11 directly from Adobe? If so, just log in to your account and make a new download -- Sign in>Manage Account>Plans & Products>Order History. Click on your order number. This will open up a page with the download link.
Or you can download a replacement installer HERE. You will need the serial number to complete the installation.

Thanks both. Yes - I bought it directly from Adobe So I will try what Sepiana suggests. I did in fact see the page with 'Installers' on it but didn't understand what they were - it sounded like something that did installing rather than an installation as such. I have been very cautious in setting up the new PC - ie checking everything twice as I am prone to getting techie things badly wrong - so I didn't want to take any chances

I believe Adobe created that page with the installer replacements to accommodate situations such as when someone purchased the boxed version of Elements from an online or local retailer and then misplaced the disk. As long as you have the serial number, everything will be fine. As a side note -- That is the page members in the Adobe Photoshop Elements forum are sent to when they find themselves in such a situation.
It has been my experience that, when you purchase Elements directly from Adobe, you can always go back and re-download it. Adobe says that your downloads will be available for three years after the date of purchase. This has not been my experience. As of this writing, all my downloads (going back to Elements 7) are still available in my Adobe account.

Bet to ignore this - I am trying something else - just realised that the download I tried but stopped is in fact the one suggested by Sepiana - so I am giving it a go - fingers crossed:)
ARGHHHH - I think I actually bought PSE 11 from Amazon - I am recorded in the Adobe site as having PSE 11 and I can see the serial number but I can't see how to install PSE 11 to my new PC.
I tried downloading something but it seemed to be some sort of trial - which isn't what I want:( So I cancelled the download.)
Sorry to be so obtuse about all this but when it comes to technology I always have difficulty understanding, but find it very easy to get it wrong*.
So I am back to square 1:
"So .... can anyone please advise on what I need to do now to get PSE 11 installed on my PC/ point me to a link that explains it in plain English?"
*Just to illustrate:
(1) I am also not able to get my redemption code to work for the CC subscription I have 'free' as part of buying some new kit (I am trying to get that sorted elsewhere, so as not to strain the goodwill of folk on here:))
(2) I have a new smart phone (first one for me) and managed to lock it in a way unknown to the suppliers help line - It had to be totally re-set to default as it was when first received.

Hoorah - Sepiana I'd give you a kiss if I could, or failing that I'd buy you a pint (or two:))
I couldn't get the download to work and then I realised .....
... I had only downloaded page 1. Hence I was getting weird questions like what app do you want to use to open the download (I am now on Windows 10)
Once I downloaded page 2 then it all went ok
Now just need to insert all my actions from the old machine + download CC/PS/LR (and learn how to use them )+ download Nik
My brain will explode....

Chris, you made me smile! Give me a kiss and a pint or two? What also can a girl wish for? Send them all my way.
