I have Panos free book action for PSE 11. It says to have a 4x3 ratio image which when I run the action comes out as a very small Landscape photo in a Portrait book. A Portrait book is what I want so I altered the photo to a 3x4 ratio with the Marquee tool but it still comes out as a small Landscape in a Portrait Book. Has anybody used this Action ? I want to put a portrait photo on the one page & a short story on the other page. Maybe someone who used to scrap has a good Template of an Open Book ? All help is appreciated. Storm |

I have the purchased version of this action; I don't have this problem. Maybe it is a limitation of the free version. You may want to double-check with Panos.
Here is an open book template (PNG and PSD files).

NOTE: The PSD file contains layer groups. Layer groups are a Photoshop feature (not available in Elements). They are used to organize your layers when you have too many of them; it is a very common feature in template files which consist of many layers. These layer groups can be collapsed and expanded. Unfortunately, you cannot do so in Photoshop Elements.
A former EV member, dconsc, created an action to group and ungroup layers in Elements. The action was written for Elements 7 but, as a rule of thumb, actions written for this version will work in Elements 8 through Elements 13.
