A friend is in the middle of trying to download PSCC and all of a sudden it stopped. She is a PC user and got an error code that told her to turn off McAfee.....she did that but nothing's happening. She needs help now....any suggestions?

Helen I had exactly the same problem, on two different occasions, while trying to download updates. I had a tough time finding the contact information for Adobe but eventually got hold of a technician (both times). They were both very helpful and the problem was solved, although it was time consuming. One of them admitted that it was a problem on the Adobe side, not anything I did, and not my computer. I'm adding the telephone number below. Good luck. I'm sure the problem will be solved satisfactorily. 1-800-833-6687 Angela

Maybe I was having a bad day, that time, but I just kept going round in circles on that site. My particular problem (and error message wasn't covered and I needed to talk to a real person. I suggest Helen's friend should just save themselves some frustration and call that number. Angela

I never had any problems with that site. However, it is always good to have another way to contact Adobe.

Thanks for the additional info Angela. I passed it on to my friend. Thankfully she did get her program working, but like Sepiana said, it is always good to have another way of making a contact.

And here is something interesting. I learnt that the options to contact Adobe for support will vary depending on the product you have and on the nature of the issue. For example, if your problem is with Elements, your options are Online Chat and the Forums. It doesn't look like phone calls are an option.
