I came across this list of free sites for sharing images. Since our forum relies on outside sources for sharing, it would be helpful if members might share their experiences with using any of these sites...... Anything that you could add that might help another member decide what might work for them would be helpful. Also if you know of another source, please feel free to add it to this thread.

Well, I use Flickr. I have some pictures witch are public, and some that are private. I can make albums, but I haven't got to that yet. I joined some groups as well, but I'm not an active group member.
I especially like the way you can choose the size of the picture you want to share. What I don't like is that the link is embedded, -I use to change the link before I post it.
What I like the most, is that I can use Lightroom to publish pictures to Flickr. I dont have to have a physically file on my disk. I have smart previews, edit them and put them in an "export dialog". And.. boom.. there it is on Flickr. I also have Flickr to monitor a folder on my hard disk. Everything I put in that folder is published on Flickr. (Private until I change it.)

I may not have been clear in my initial post. My reason for starting this thread was to try to come up with some other options members might use for adding images to a post since cubeupload has been having difficulties. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Flickr, Marianne. For members new to Flickr you can find out how to add images to a post by checking FAQ.

Helen, until it went wonky, I was using CubeUpload exclusively to upload to my gallery. I have since been using postimage.org which I open in a separate tab from PSE&M. I upload the image (specifying not to resize my image since I have already done so on the long side between 1000-1200 pixels) and then copy the direct link which I subsequently paste into the image URL section after I have clicked on add image from my PSE&M gallery. I have found it to be a straight forward exercise and easy to use facility.
