Currently I have PSE 11 but didn't get on with the Organiser, so continued to use iPhoto to 'catalog'.
Looking to upgrade now to PSE 14 and wonder how folks rate PSE Organiser these days? Welcome advice/suggestions/tips etc. please

Hi uknomad, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
There is no doubt the Organizer has come a long way. Adobe made major changes to the Organizer back in Elements 11. Now it is a more aumotated system to categorize your photos. I am still testing the Organizer in Elements 14. At first glance the changes don't seem to be major. You can check the resource mentioned in this thread to see what is new.

My suggestion would be for you to download a free trial of Elements 14 and test the waters concerning the Organizer. In this way, you will be able to make an informed decision, one based on your needs and interests.

I was under the impression that Iphotos was going away. Is my impression correct?

Thanks again Sepiana re improvements over past few PSE Organisers. I have stuck with iPhoto so far simply because the new Photos won't as yet allow export to any external editor such as PSE. I will need to change/update at some point so your suggestion of downloading trail PSE 14 makes a lot of sense to give it a go.
