Hi All,
I bought PSE 13 in August, after going "all around the houses" I was finally told today, by Adobe support that I was not eligible for free upgrade to 14.
Just to show a bit of "fight", I informed Adobe, that "Mr Adobe's"* penny pinching will lose them customers.
My attempt at humour*
I will certainly NOT be taking up the half price offer of £59.57 emailed to me today! -that is more than I paid for 13 the other month!

fidofoto,
Sorry to hear you were not eligible for the complimentary upgrade to Elements 14. It is my understanding that Adobe has a 30-day window for this offer based on the date Elements 14 was released (September 24).

PSE14 up and running! Am now thinking about buying a book as I have jumped from 9 to 14 with a brief three week play at 13! The last book I had was for PSE6! I know Barbara Brundage isn't doing a Missing Manual this time around but I thought I might get the one for 13. That and/or Scott Kelby's book when it comes out. Bayla

Bayla, good news! The Missing Manual for Elements 13 will do just fine. There are not too many changes or new features in Elements 14. If I didn't have to keep on my toes as far as Elements is concerned, I would not have upgraded to version 14. You can also use these RESOURCES.

Update: Got an email today from Adobe stating my request has been approved & the order placed & my dl should be available in 24-48 hours. Bayla Hi Bayla I had an email to say " the download will be available in your Adobe account in 24-48 hours" on 24 Oct. I've checked on Customer Support Portal but can't see anything to suggest tis is available to download. I appreciate I may have to wait another couple of days. Could you tell me how you got your download, please? Am I not looking in the right place, or something? My brain is so 'wooly' these days, anything is possible Many thanks Julie

Julie,
I am not Bayla but . . .
I believe that, when Adobe said "the download will be available in your Adobe account in 24-48 hours", they meant you need to log in to your personal account at the Adobe site. If they have already posted the download, that's where you will find it. On the link below, just click on "SIGN IN". Anyway, this has been my experience.

Julie,
Here's what I did (I think!)
Signed in to Adobe, then under Plans & Products clicked on View Products (in blue type) which led me to a page with all my registered Adobe Products. That's where the dl was.
Hope this helps.

Many thanks both Sepiana and Bayla Between both of your comments, I managed to find the download page and am downloading right now. The page to download from is really hard to find, I found. Anyway, that should be fine now.. I really didn't think I'd be eligible for this upgrade but, after reading Bayla's post saying she'd be granted an upgrade when she had bought it at same time as I did, at the same price, I decided to go for it and was quite surprised but very pleased that I have been granted it and now getting it. Brilliant, and thanks Bayla for giving me the motivation and confidence to give it a try. So, even though I was happy getting v13 at the price I did, it is even better to get v14 free as a result! Brilliant! Very happy, Julie
