I have a Hard Drive that I took out of my computer when it crashed. I sent this HD to my daughter to see if she could recover the PSE & LR file's and put them on a Flash Drive where I could them install them on my new computer. In the event she cannot is it possible to get another download(free, smile) from Adobe. If so how would one go about getting something like that kicked off?

Dick,
if you bought your PSE and LR as a download from Adobe you should be able to log into your Adobe account and download the program again.

Okay S&S, I'll answer both of you at once. I did not buy either from Adobe and I don't have a clue about Serial #'s.
It is no one's fault in particular,,, if I were the seller in both cases I would think someone was trying to pull a fast one. I'll just have to bite the bullet if need be. Thanks for the info.
Hopefully my daughter will come through with the bacon.

As you didn't purchase your copy of Elements from Adobe, just use the links I provided in my previous post and download the FREE replacement installer for your version of Elements. When you run the installer you will be asked to enter your serial number at some point in the installation process. This Adobe document explains how to find this number.

Depending where you bought the software, they may still have a record of the license# that you purchased. I know Newegg does this, and Amazon probably does as well. You would need to login to your account and search on prior purchases.

The way that work's out is Adobe allow's additional downloads with your key#'s in LR and Amazon asks you to sign in to your account and then hover over that title,a drop down menu appears, go down the menu to "Your Games and Software" and there it(PSE) set's waiting for an additional download. So with that being said I got them both back but now I have a screwy computer again, LOL. such is life.

This may be the gods' way of also telling you to make a note of your serial numbers somewhere.
