I can't see any threads on whether there are any issues after upgrading to OS X El Capitan (sorry but what a stupid name!!!) (10.11) so just wondering if anyone here has been brave enough to jump, and if so, is all well with which versions of PSE?
My policy has always been to wait at least until update x.1 is out before upgrading, so I'll be sitting back for a while.

I have updated to OSX 10.11. PSE 13 and 14, LR6 and PPS 9.5 all appear to operating ok. The only issue i had was a few emails in Apple mail didn,t transfer so i lost them ( but that's obviously not an issue for this forum.

No problems with PSE13 after El Capitan upgrade. You will though probably have to reinstall Topaz Filters.
I only use PSE to Edit. Uploading images and Filing is done via View NX2 and Nikon Transfer 2.

Thought I would jump in here and report my issues with El Capitan. I usually wait until a new OS has been out a while but this time I jumped in with both feet as I had no problems with earlier versions of Mac OS. Well this time I really had trouble. After installing El Capitan my computer would no longer recognize my Canon cameras nor could I use Adobe Bridge CS4. I had no trouble with Elements. After several days with no success I called Apple Support. To make a long story shorter, after going through three support people (including a senior tech support person) and two failed reinstalls of Yosemite - we were finally able to (mostly) erase El Capitan and return to OS Yosemite. At this point my complete Adobe CS4 Suite was corrupted. I had to uninstall and reinstall it. Things work fine now but there are a few lingering remnants of El Capitan that I must deal with. I must say that Apple Support was very nice and they were very perplexed as well. Just a heads up.

I think I'll wait a while. Creepy if you don't connect with your cameras! I'll read some more about the matter first. EDIT: Maybe the answer to the problem is to use the card reader?

It would have installed automatically but I need to free up some space. It needs at least 8GB and I will probably have to archive my iPhoto library to an EHD. I suppose that will happen but I'm in no hurry.

I downloaded El Capitan on my Mac, and suddenly I could no longer locate my cameras in the Elements 13 organizer photo downloader. I downloaded Photoshop Elements 14, and it did not solve the problem. Nosing around on this site and others, it appears that this may be a relatively common problem. Adobe's Photoshop Elements forum doesn't seem to be working, which may be because there are so many issues with Photoshop Elements 13 and 14 and El Capitan. Any suggestions?
