Several issues with my Organizer:

When I click the Organizer option in the upper right of the Editor, it tells me it's searching but it never is able to call up the Organizer. At the opening screen however, where you choose Organizer or Editor, I can get to the Organizer that way. I'm using a dual monitor setup and the Organizer appears on the supplementary monitor but without the Task Pane. So, I can't choose different albums, get to Properties... all I see is my entire collection of photos, all the albums at once. And I can't drag the Organizer over to the main monitor.

Luckily, all my photos appear to be safe.

Any help would be most appreciated... thanks all!

I am not sure this is what you want but . . .

Drag your cursor all the way to the right side of the Organizer. You will see the separator bar, a narrow dark gray bar running from top to bottom. Place your cursor over this bar. The cursor will turn into a tiny arrow pointing towards the center of the window and you will see this pop-up tip -- Adjust Organizer Bin Size. Click on the separator bar. This should reopen the Panels Bin.

Weird, because I did know about that separator bar but couldn't find it. Even checking "task pane" under the Window tab didn't work. But with your encouragement, I tried again. Oddly, I still couldn't find it, it was off the screen somewhere and I couldn't grab it. But I did notice the upper two lines of thumbnails having a tiny, tiny black dot at the right hand edge. Didn't look like triangles, just a small mark. So I clicked on the bottom one and all the lower rows (about 6 or 8) skittered off to the right a few thumbnails' worth! And then the separator bar appeared on the right hand edge and I was home free. My task pane was all there once again.

Wonder how that happened... maybe it was because my supplementary monitor is smaller and when I moved my organizer over to that monitor, part of it was inaccessible.

Anyway, I'll know what to do if this happens again...
