I'm having all sorts of issues with the website today.
When I type there's no toolbar that allows me to change font whether bold or italic, colour, or smilies.
Normally when I click in the box that says 'Last Post' it takes me directly to the last post - nothing is happening.
No option to delete a thread I've created.
Can't toggle between Preview & BBCode.
When I click on Members, there's no way to change the view to Posts, Rank, Username, Last Online etc.
Page numbers only at top of page.
No arrow at side to quickly get to top or bottom of page.
What's happening?

Update.
These problems appear to be only with Firefox.....just tried opening in Chrome & IE and everything was working fine.
Another thing I've noted is that normally ALT + T allows you to toggle between Preview & BBCode. Once again I cannot do this in Firefox, only Chrome & IE.
And if I go to anyone's individual galleries then ALL the comments have disappeared!

I almost raised an issue earlier but talked myself out of it as probably just me, but just in case it is connected (although very different), today the site has been desperately slow. If I press on 'New Posts' for example, it just sits and thinks for a while before eventually loading. I'm not having problems with any other sites, so just a glitch or is someone tinkering? I'm on Safari.

Bayla,
I am not experiencing any of the problems you mentioned. I am using IE11 and Safari. This seems to be a problem not with our website but with your browser (settings?).
No option to delete a thread I've created. This is not a problem. You cannot delete a thread you created. You need to contact one of the Administrators/Moderators to do it for you. On the other hand, you can delete a post you created within your own thread or within another member's thread

Just one more data point: I also use Firefox and no issues of any of those sorts (cross-fingers!)

My mistake - I meant to write that I can't delete a post! Apart from giving up on Firefox & switching to Chrome or IE, I don't know what to do. Bayla

Sepiana,
Have already tried rebooting the computer & clearing cookies and cache. Will carry on with the list and see if I can sort it out.

PS. Have discovered other issues with the site - but isn't it strange that I've not noticed anything amiss anywhere else?

Bayla,
My next-door neighbor uses Firefox and he has just updated it. I asked him to come over and bring his laptop with him. Then, I used it to access this forum. I encountered none of the problems you are describing. As a matter of fact, I thought the response time for Firefox was a notch above the one for IE11, the browser I use.

Think I've nailed it. It would appear to be an add-on called Avira Browser Safety - Avira is the anti-virus software that my computer guy put on after my latest hd crash. Not sure why it's only started causing a problem now. But I was anyway going to replace it with McAfee cos when my daughter recently bought a new laptop she also purchased McAfee which came with three free years and can be put on multiple computers.
Anyway, the main thing is that this site is running normally again.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Great Bayla; I'm really glad you figured it out! I have found similar issues with some antivirus software; it seems they can be so aggressive as to bring my computer to its knees. It's almost like an "it can't get infected if it doesn't run!" approach!
