For anyone (like me) that pre ordered ON1 Photo 10 together with the training videos, I have just received the release email together with download links. Just about to download now.

Phil, thanks!
Although I said in another thread I was not going to pre-order ON1 Photo 10, I went ahead and did it. I have just finished installing it. Everything went smoothly until . . . I had to activate this program. It looks like there is a problem with the activation service.

Sepiana. I read the Activation issue warning from the link you supplied so I waited until this morning to download and install. I have now received an email (as you probably have) saying the Activation problem is now resolved. Have now installed and activated, all appears good.

Phil, I kept checking that page and in a couple of hours they announced they had fixed the problem. I was able to do the activation. I also got the same e-mail.
Yes, it is quite an improvement.

I have been giving ON1 Photo 10 a quick work out. I have found one difference between ON1 10 and PPS 9.5 when sending an image from PSE for editing. In Elements to edit in PPS 9.5 you went via Automation Tools but to access ON1 Photo 10 from Elements go to Filter and at the bottom of the list you will find ON1 10.

I noticed that too. I guess they are moving with the times. From what I understand, Automation Tools is still available for the benefit of old plug-ins which make use of it. That's why it is always grayed out; it doesn't get activated until you install a plug-in which needs it.

I just tried downloading the link sent to my email and the download keeps getting interrupted and nothing happens. I sent an email to their tech support about the issue. I have Windows10 and my laptop is only a year old so capacity should not be an issue.

I installed it yesterday without issue. Looks like a bit of a learning curve to get used to the changes from 9.5.

I had no problems on my Mac, but a friend who uses Windows (I don't know which version) said that he had problems until he turned off his Virus protection. Then the installation went perfectly. agg

It is always a good idea to turn off your anti-virus programs when installing ON1 software. As a matter of fact they recommend it.
