Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

Straight out of the camera - using the telephoto lens - on a cloudy/rainy day - cropped. This is the first thing that sprung to mind when I saw this Challenge. Not much of a shot, but what is more perfect for this theme than the Golden Arches. Take a good look, the way McD's is going, it may be the next dodo bird.

Janice,
Glad to see how you got this challenge to a great start. You captured one of the most famous American icons -- the Golden Arches. Well done!

Here are some mystery arches, which appeared last week between the tram stop and railway station at West Croydon. What have our Town Planners in mind for the latest "improvements"? Time will tell...

Oh dear, I hope they don't catch the same disease as our trees in my town - looks similar 'wood' Wilting tree, again! Julie

Dennis,
They may be mystery arches but they are perfect for this theme. Great finding! I love how you got two captures, from different angles (perspectives?). Well done!

This afternoon I went for a walk and came across this arc on the trail.

Sepiana - Nice framing of the pedestrians also.

Great find Sepiana! I promise not to use the texture effects filter on every image, but as long as it's the first week ... I've textured my arc. Thanks for the fun theme.
