I paid Topaz for Texture Effects & was downloading the Topaz Texture Effects set-up and got a notification from Windows that this was a Threat. The download stopped . When I checked my Downloads Folder the Set up.exe was there but when I double clicked on it got notice that it had failed etc They tell us to close our anti virus mine is free AVG which I had not done ,but it was a Windows notice that stopped my download . Question.. in C\Program I have setup.exe for the mini Trial I got 2 days ago and also this one that is no good . The mini Trial one is also in the Uninstall list but not the full one I paid for that has not downloaded properly . Before I try to download again should I Uninstall the Mini Trial and just rt click on the bad one & click Delete ? What should I close down ? Sorry to be a problem person but in Nov 2013 I downloaded Topaz full Collection with no problems. Last Jan I downloaded Impressions again without a hitch. Thank you for any help you can give me. I am not sure about the Mini Trial interfering with the installation of the purchased version. However, it may be a good idea to uninstall it before installing the purchased version.
It looks like your antivirus program blocked the installation of this plug-in. This sometimes happens when you try to install a recently released program. Turn your antivirus program just temporarily; make another download; and, then, proceed with installing the purchased version.
If the problem persists I would suggest you submit a ticket to Topaz Labs' Technical Support. They are better qualified to handle such problems.

BTW, you are not alone. Reports of problems/bugs are beginning to pop up in the Topaz Labs forum. There is talk of an update being released soon to fix them. |
