Hi everyone - glad to be here.
I am using PSE 13 on a Mac. Am interested in downloading Elements+ for the extra editing features. I assume it's just an add-on. Is that correct? Can anyone tell me if this is a big download? Thanks

Hi flora, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
Yes, it is just an add-on. No, it is not a big file.

Sepiana, I've installed it but everything looks the same on the face of it. Not sure what's what.

Sorry Sepiana, I just figured it out. Went back to base. So it seems I use the 'effects' palette and this gives me access to the elements plus tools. Far out. This will keep me occupied for the rest of the day! So glad I found this forum.

Well the first think I learnt is that I can't edit the effect I produce. No big deal I guess but it means starting from scratch if I want to make an adjustment to that effect. Will be worth my while remembering what I did exactly in the first place so I don't repeat myself. I'll probably just take a quick screen shot.
So you know what I'm talking about. I selected 'color & tone', then 'channel mixer' and used the sliders. I can't edit the resulting adjustment layer in the layers palette. I have to delete and start again.
Plain as mud probably LOL

Andrei, thanks but I can't watch video as my broadband data allowance will run out. I only have a small allowance compared to most people as I live in the bush.
Is there a way round that small editing problem?
I only downloaded it today so have a lot to learn yet I know. I'm just grateful to have access to these tools.

Flora,
Andrei has written tutorials on his website. Check the index on the left side of the screen. Also, if you scroll down to the bottom, there is a Help file (PDF format).

Yes Sepiana, thanks. I'm onto it but will take awhile before I'm completely clued in.

Flora,
I'm afraid, re-editing Channel Mixer and other "undocumented" adjustment layers isn't possible.
As a workaround I'd suggest saving your settings to a (temporary) preset. Must be a little bit faster than your screenshot based method.

That's an idea. Thanks Andrei. I'll do that then.
