Wow; well-executed Judy! Just the right amount of watercolor and ink lines.

Thank you Tom - had to reload; I think it was too large! Photo was from Pixabay.

Wow! what some really nice additions that have been added. It looks like just about any kind of picture will work with this tutorial. That can't be said about some tutorials. I have tried some that you have to have the perfect picture to get good results. If anyone is interested in doing one, I would like to see a portrait with this effect just to see how it would work out.
Thanks again for all the good wishes for my wife. Keep all the wonderful pictures coming.
I would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving to all that will be celebrating.

I found getting the edging right on a person kind of tricky. Think I've maybe overdone it a bit with this one... photo from morguefile.

Very well done BillieJean. Thanks for trying that out. It really has a sketchy painterly look to it. Good job. Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I have been kind of busy this weekend.

Berengaria you have done a splendid job on this. You have captured the perfect photo to use here. The textured border really makes it pop. Looks like it could have been done a 100 years ago or more. Good job!

I managed to take a few minutes this morning to play with this picture I got from morquefile. I tried a little of this & a little of that on top of the original tutorial.

Mike, I really like your portrait. I tried one too, but wasn't happy with my result. Have to give it another go.

Thanks Rita. Yes indeed give it another try. It took me a few tries before I liked this one. And I feel there is still something missing in it.
