Every time I try to save a file/image, it wants to go to the Organizer. I don't ever use the Organizer so how do I get rid of the check mark in that box?

I am not certain I fully understand your question. Are you saying that you can not clear that box? For me it is active, so I can clear it by clicking on it.

If you have not done this yet, . . . first, adjust the settings on the Welcome Screen to launch Elements via the Editor (or create a direct shortcut to the Editor). Then, in the Save As dialog box, turn off "Include in the Elements Organizer" as well as "version sets". This should stick. "Include in the Elements Organizer" will stay turned off until you turn it back on. However, if you ever open an image from the Organizer into the Editor, this setting will automatically turn itself back on. |

Oh, thank you so much, Sepiana! It's so good to "talk" to you again. I just sent you a PM message about all the problems I'm having trying to get started with this site. Let me first say how much I missed PSE village and the gang. It's good to be in touch again. The biggest problem I have here at the moment is having to sign in with a user name I don't want or use...I don't know how to change that. One other problem that came up is when I PM'd you, the 'Enter' key on my keyboard would not give me a new paragraph.
