What a great story, thanks for sharing this Charles.
That certainly is a very patient man, not sure I could do that.
Would love to know if any of our members had a shot they were after that took a while to get. I certainly have a few, so will try and find one and share a little later.

I just saw this on line this morning. What an amazing shot and what an amazing story. After 720 ,000 shots, I would probably miss the big one anyway!!!!!!!!!!!

I am happy you enjoyed this story After 720,000 shots I am wondering how many shutters he had repaired along with how many new camera bodies he had to replace!

Lucky for him that we are past the days of paying for film development.
And he says he is going to continue photographing kingfishers. I have only seen one in my whole life. And I didn't even have my camera with me.
